Awarded the Premio “Antonello da Messina” by the Association Culturale Antonello da Messina on 14 April 2023 for the section “Studi Antonelliani” (studies on Antonello), the biennial event held in Rome by the Associazione culturale “Antonello da Messina” that celebrated the 25th edition this year.

Awarded the “Empowerment through Arts and Culture” award for being the first female full-time lecturer in Art History at the University of Malta and the first female to be promoted to associate professor in the same field in the Mara Awards organised by Dr Lydia Abela on 7 March 2025, This was the second edition of the Mara awards which serves as a platform to celebrate female leadership, creativity, and resilience in Malta.
