Ethelbert Perini will be holding his first solo exhibition throughout the month of October. His preferred medium, and one that he has mastered over the years, is that of soft pastels on paper. His oeuvre consists of freshly executed compositions portraying still lifes, land and seascapes, as well as portraits. Exploiting the colour of the paper of choice, he adds a variety of tones and dramatic highlights and shadows, as he expertly glides the pastels over the surface.
