Home is where the Heart is

This exhibition celebrated the spirit of Maltese interiors and the warmth of the festive season. Each painting captures a slice of Maltese heritage, filled with details that evoke nostalgia and familiarity.

De Giorgio’s paintings are all based on her recent experiences with her friends and loved ones and revolve around her close-knit family with paintings portraying a jovial yet intimate Christmas Eve dinner. On the other hand, Zammit Tabona’s paintings are largely of imaginative settings, albeit being of places and people that he has come across and been inspired by.
